As you can see, there is a brand new layout on www.sarahshire.com. There are many new things added to the website. There are two brand new pages, In the Media and Caption This. We also added a floor music from between 2002-2004, a new wallpaper, and many new AIM buddy icons. New avatars will be coming soon. "Fans" page has new quiz questions and five new support banners. Finally, the new guestbook is now up! We hope you like all new goodies!

Yesterday Sarah finished the day two of VISA Championships. She started with floor exercise. Sarah did a nice whip - Arabian double, piked full-in, great triple full, and double pike (out of bounds). She placed 11th on that event. On second event, vault, Sarah did a Yurchenko double and scored 9.316. She placed 10th. On uneven bars, Sarah fell on her Gienger with the score of 8.716 and placed 9th. On Sarah's last event, balance beam, she fell on her Kochetkova; got stuck in the middle, tried to save it. She scored 8.366 on that event and placed 15th. Sarah placed 9th all-around and made the National Team! Congratulations Sarah!

Sarah just finished the first day of the US National Championships. She started with 8.633 on balance beam after a fall on side somi. On floor exercise, she fell on arabian double front and got 9.333. Sarah did a double-twisting Yurchenko with the score of 9.366. On the last event, uneven bars, she did a nice routine; hop-full, Gienger, and a full twisting dismount with the score of 9.300. Sarah placed 10th all-around.

Sarah had a shaky meet at US Classic today. She fell on her vault and got score of 8.533. When Sarah was at her second rotation on uneven bars. She lost her grips while on the bars and fell to a dead hang and recieved a score of 9.000. Then she got 9.150 on balance beam and 9.050 on floor exercise. She placed 6th all-around. A full report will be on Total Gymnast soon, so be sure to check it out! New pictures from the meet will be coming soon.

Many updates today! Over 20 new animations have been added from 2005 Dragon Invitational! A new video has been added from 2004 Elite Podium Meet on vault. There is a new scrapbook from USAG Magazine and two new pictures from 2002 DeHypotheekshop as well as a new wallpaper.

Earlier this month, NBC made Sarah as an "Athlete of the Week!" They went to her gym and talked to her. They made a video, which you can view it in the videos page. The teammates page is updated with new Level 10 gymnasts!

Sarah would like to announce that she has verbally committed to the University of Utah. Sarah made the decision last week and is very excited. She will attend the University of Utah for the 2006-2007 season. After careful consideration she made the decision because of the great tradition and the great coaching staff. This early decision allows Sarah to concentrate on the rest of her elite career and on finishing high school. Sarah says "It is a great time to be Ute!!" Thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement of this decision. GO UTES!!!!!!

Sarah competed at the USA - Mexico - Canada meet last night. The USA won team while Sarah placed 8th all-around, 3rd on vault, and 3rd on uneven bars. There are a couple new pictures added from the meet.

Sarah will be traveling to New York this week to compete at the USA, Canada, and Mexico meet! The USA team is Annie DiLuzio, Natasha Kelley, Brittany Magee, and Shayla Worley with Kelly Fee and Bianca Flohr as alternates. Good luck Sarah and the USA team!

Sarah competed last weekend at the Coaches Cup in Cincinnati, OH. Sarah did an excellent job, placing 1st on all-around, 1st on vault, bars and floor, and 3rd on beam!
